Twice in my life, of the many, many pics of actresses, I was struck dumb, I guess, and have never forgotten either, all these years later- one was a pic of Marlene Dietrich, sitting in a soft chair, cigarette in hand, gazing at the camera; the other woman was Ann Margaret, in what must have been a publicity pic of the time, when she was quite young. Both stunning enough to make me stop, stop again...

All of them are incredibly beautiful ! Each unique and amazing! The type that you sort of worship from afar because they had a unattainable stature! But for me , Audrey Hepburn stood alone because she was not only fantastically beautiful and talented , but she projected this amazingly warm , friendly and charming vibe! When I watched her on the movie screen, I always had this feeling that “ I wish I knew her in real life “ and “ I wish she was my friend “ ! ❤️. MikeW.

This is very subjective, but I would rank Ava Gardner, Hedy Lamarr, and Greta Garbo much higher!

Switch number 1 and number 2 and then it's fine with me. Although overrated Lamarr is not even in my top 10! VIVIEN LEIGH beats them ALL in my opinion!

I agree, Audrey is #1. I think Janet Leigh, Natalie Wood, and Jean Simmons get overlooked a lot.
